Getting in shape and eating right might be a long process and a struggle to some people. But the effort put towards it in the end will be more than worth it in the long run. Here are 5 tips for the everyday normal person to get and keep fit:
1. Eating a balanced and healthy diet.

To me this is probably the most important. Sugar, candy and chocolate is a big no no, even if it’s just one bar, that one bar will only lead to another so it’s important you stay well clear. Fruit and veg are the best things you can eat getting into shape. When eating fruits such as apples , they do a very good job of keeping you full for a few hours at a time. While greens help the digestive system run and clean.
Meats like turkey, chicken and fish are of course other great options, these are high in protein and many other nutrients. Try and put your meals into smaller portions, 5 or 6 small portions a day at the most. This is because you will have less food in your digestive system which means more energy is being used into your workouts.
2. Excersise daily

It is important and crucial you get at least one to two hours of exercise a day. This can include just going for a long walk to high intense workouts at the gym.
If you’re fitness mad then you might want to go for the higher intense workouts but be warned, you don’t want to be overdoing it as it can then danger the muscles. A day off here and there won’t hurt anyone and as I mentioned above earing the right amount of food and nutrients will help you avoid these injuries, as your muscles will rebuild in a quick amount of time.
3. Drinking water

Without water our bodies can’t survive, simple as that. You should be drinking water everyday, not only is it great for our skin, but it also washes the bad stuff away from our bodies.
People who want to desperately lose weight should drink one or two cups a day in order to lose weight and stay fit as it helps in reducing body fat. And again is a major help in working out also.
4. Sleep

This is such an important fitness tip. Our bodies need the right amount of sleep, and yes sleeping longer makes you lose weight but sleeping longer also programmes your body into becoming lazy and many other side effects can happen.
When you are well rested your body performes at maximum level, which means more intense workouts and less fatigue. The goal is to get 7-8 hours a day along with time for physical health to balance the effects of both. I could write for hours on this one but I wouldn’t want you falling to sleep.
5. Staying motivated

Last but not least is to stay motivated. It is extremely important not to lose that mindset like many others have done. A positive mindset is the best mindset. And with that, you can achieve the body which you’ve always wanted. Like I mentioned in the beginning this isn’t going to be a quick process so stick with it and achieve them goals.
